Shards - Jordan Chase-Young

Six years ago, a cataclysm that shattered the moon and drowned the world beneath an endless ocean has reduced humanity to a few dozen survivors in a lonely spire, one kept aloft by the stone-manipulating mages known as earthmasons. Dwindling supplies, eroding walls, and tensions between the earthmasons and the Spire's non-magical inhabitants have pushed this last shard of humanity to the brink. But Shona, an earthmason determined to save her family and her home, discovers that the Spire's inhabitants may not be alone.
